KRAIBURG Austria is founded on a 12-hectare sawmill site in Geretsberg.
1964
PRESENT AT THE TRADE FAIR IN ESSEN
As early as the 60s, we were the meeting place for the tyre retreading industry at REIFEN.
1966ALWAYS MANOEUVRABLE AND FAST
During material loading. The first forklift truck needs support, and the KRAIBURG Austria family reacts quickly and manoeuvrably as usual.
1967
SOME LIKE IT COLD!
"KRAIBURG – the original" starts his career. On September 1st, our first vulcanized tread pattern rolls off the production line.
1970PRODUCTION IN NEW SPLENDOUR
In 1976, a major fire paralyzed our production for weeks. We are rebuilding our production and installing new blending systems.

FEED FOR THE RETREADED
The quality of our feeding strips is convincing. They make a significant contribution to sales. Now, we annually produce 5,000 tons.
1981QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our first pin extruder sets new standards. It optimizes the dimensional accuracy of the extrudates and our cost-effectiveness.

ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE
Nothing works without our operating technology. The team maintains all production facilities and thus secures production operations.
1986ARE ALL VALUES CORRECT
In the production of raw treads, it depends on the mixture. And on the observance of the lowest possible dimensional accuracy tolerances.

ONE FLOOR UP, PLEASE!
Our second stack press doubled the production capacity for vulcanized treads. This is how we expand our quality range.
1992A NEW CARBON BLACK STORAGE SILO!
Carbon black of various kinds is an essential component of almost all mixtures. Up to 300 tonnes are stored in our ten silos.

Up to 300 formulations are mixed in our five internal rubber mixers. The right one – for every use and every application.
2000IN THE FAST LANE
The participation at the Truck Race from 2003 to 2005 impressively demonstrated that retreads perform well even under extreme conditions.
